Membership in the GVTAA is open to all RVTs, VAs, and associates in the veterinary medical field who are interested in promoting the profession across the state of Georgia.

As of Monday, February 18th, 2008:

• 38 paid members
• 2 payments pending
• 3 executive board members
• 3 VT Instructors

Of the 46 members who have renewed membership for 2008:

• 6 Veterinary Technology Students 
• 6 Veterinary Assistants
• 29 Veterinary Technicians
• 1 Practice Membership
• 2 Associate Members (both DVMs)

Of these memberships, 15 areNEW to the GVTAA!

Membership runs from January 1st - December 31st of each year.

To renew membership status, a membership form must be downloaded and mailed with check or money order payment via snail mail at this time. Incomplete or inaccurate forms will be returned to sender. Email addresses are an EXTREMELY important addition on application forms. If you wish to receive regular updates and be included in voting, please ensure an accurate email is on file with us at all times. If you need to update your email address (or other information), please email our Membership Secretary at Membership.Secretary@gvtaa.org.

At this time we are working towards online form submission/payment options. Until we are capable of accepting internet submissions for membership and payment, please download the following forms and submit with payment (a check or money order made out to GVTAA)  via snail mail.

Why be a member while in a student status?

Well..... student members are eligible for discounted memberhip fees, discounted conference registration as well as 1 year free membership post graduation. AND ... don't forget the opportunity to apply for our scholar awards ... one to be awarded to one student at each VT program in the state of Georgia.
